I really don't think there's any room to doubt any longer that the Dalek army was '''not '''restored. Subsequent episodes of DW, along with Torchwood and SJA, have shown that the vast majority of people living on current Earth are oblivious to the existence of genuine alien life; this would not be possible if the Dalek invasion had still occured. There's nothing in ''Torchwood: Miracle Day ''to support the notion that it still happened (I can't see how someone dealing with an organisation dedicated to fighting alien menaces would not at least mention the Daleks). If it wasn't the Cracks, what else could have caused the population of Earth to forget about a global invasion, because there's no other explanation. And there's no way the Angels on the Byzantium were restored, otherwise they would've killed everyone. This is another debate entirely, that has been discussed elsewhere. There have been plenty of episodes of Doctor Who since the very beginning that have said that humans are just dumb, and will ignore evidence of alien life even when its staring them in the face. Even in ''Childen of Earth'', which took place after ''Journey's End'', Rupesh said that half the world still didn't believe in aliens despite the recent Dalek invasion. As for the angels, if them being erased didn't change the fact that the Byzantium crashed, unerased change the fact that everyone survived. Anyway, whether or not the erased events were restored hardly matters to the subject of this particular discussion, so let's just agree to disagree. If you really want to debate this further, then you can either start a new thread, or revive one of the old ones where this was discussed.[[User:Icecreamdif|Icecreamdif]] [[User talk:Icecreamdif|talk to me]] 18:28, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

I consider topics such as consequences of the Dalek invasion, the crashing of the Byzantium, and whether the causes of said events were restored or not, etc, etc, to all be part of the same larger issue. namely how the Cracks in time can erase entire things and individuals from existence, but still leave everything caused by the things they erase intact in history. This applies to the Dalek invasion, because the repurcussions of it were felt profoundly in Torchwood: Children of Earth, Series 3 of ''The Sarah Jane Adventures'', and ''The End of Time''.
