Spirekeeper

Mother and Father, two members of Faction Paradox, were assigned to the Shadow Spire as Spirekeepers, meant to ensure the insane Godfather Auteur did not escape from his imprisonment.

The Spire itself, however, seeped into their minds, degrading their biodata until they were little more than shadows acting out the idea of perfect loyalty to the Faction, but which had all but lost the ability to think for themselves. This allowed Auteur to manipulate them for his own ends, until he eventually turned on them completely and had his loas devour them. (PROSE: Going Once, Going Twice)
