SpongeBob is the main character in the animated television series of the same name.

The show is a flagship series of the Nickelodeon television channel which, in Australia, also broadcast The Sarah Jane Adventures.

It is also broadcast in the United Kingdom by Channel 5, which previously broadcast K9.
