St Matilda's College was one of the University of Oxford colleges. It was a women-only college.
Emily Shaw taught Middle Ages history there in 1977. The Fourth Doctor and Leela visited after a girl went missing. It was destroyed when the spaceship below the chapel exploded. (AUDIO: The Cloisters of Terror)
