Starpoint 14 was first referenced in Ryan Aplin's cover art for The Tribulations of Thadeus Nook [+]Loading...["The Tribulations of Thadeus Nook (audio story)"], in which it is shown as a potential destination for Thadeus Nook's Time Tours. The Aplin Cluster was named in tribute to Aplin for his help in seeding this element of Jamie H. Cowan's fictional world.[1]
