Stevie was a student of Edith Harcourt at Brideport Elementary School. One lesson, after being shown a film about what to do during a nuclear explosion, Stevie got into a fight with another student, Tommy Dalton for upsetting his sister by ranting about how the techniques promoted in the film would not work. He and the rest of Edith's class later fell under the control of the Piggybacker that was using Edith as a host, turning him into a compliant zombie with no mouth.
