Stuart Hardy
Stuart Hardy was thanked by Robert Shearman in the novelisation of Dalek.
By this point, Hardy was well-known to Doctor Who fans for runnning a YouTube channel, Stubagful, where he posted reviews of Doctor Who television stories, video essays, and original animations, including the horror series Class (inspired by the original title announcement of the Doctor Who spin-off series of the same name but not otherwise connected to it). This series introduced the Living Flesh Supercomputer, which was later referenced with Hardy's permission in the P.R.O.B.E. anthology Out of the Shadows, leading to Hardy being acknowledged in the copyright page.
He has also written a full two series of hypothetical Doctor Who episodes with popular youtuber Jay Exci, who also makes regular videos about the show, including a series with Hardy in which the two discuss their opinions of the latest episodes. Stuart has also collaborated with members of the Five Who Fans YouTube channel on occasion over the years. He made episode commentaries for select Doctor Who and Torchwood episodes written by Chris Chibnall which have been made available on his Patreon and were compiled into a highlights reel on his channel.
Stuart revealed that his father's name is Wayne during a technologically troubled livestream on May 21st, 2021.
