The stylophone was a musical instrument from 1970s Earth.
In Bramlington in 1974, musician Tommy Tomorrow always carried around his stylophone. The stylophone was used by the Only Ones to communicate with him and enable their incursion to Earth. (AUDIO: Horror of Glam Rock)
