Mao and the Long March
Lance Parkins places the Doctor's meeting with Mao in October of 1936. The March actually started in October of 1934 and ended in October of 1935, so he's off a bit. I placed their meeting in January of 1935, when Mao became the party's leader during a three day pause in the march. It would seem typical of the Doctor to have had a role, direct or indirect, in that particular event. --Freethinker1of1 11:40, 11 Jul 2005 (UTC)
