Talk:A Fix with Sontarans (TV story)

Canon?edit source

Now, at first glance, this story appears to be non-canon. Most agree this story is such. However, as PROSE: Fixing a Hole is created to be a seaqel to this story, then shouldn't it be cannon?

We've used this LoJack on other pages, like Dimensions in Time. Now, it was created to be canon, but is very confusing, like many Doctor Who episodes. The only reason given for it to be Non-canical is that PROSE: First Frontier says so. So, even though we (and I) may not like it, this story may be canon... But what do you guys think? Without a doubt, I think that both AFwS and its ST sequel are both non-canonical. There's too much that has changed since it first aired to be able to slip in into canonicity, even if they were originally supposed to be canonical (which I kinda doubt). Tardis1963 talk 00:42, January 11, 2012 (UTC)
Well, I doubt it was supposed to be canon too, but like I said, Dimensions in Time WAS supposed to be canon, but isn't now, so...
Plus, I don't think you can really argue that the ST sequel is non canon, I mean, the BE crossover with the Dalek films is still canon, right? I think this discussion is a bit too big and important for a Talk page... I'm going to request it be opend to a forum, similar to Forum:Is The Curse of Fatal Death canon? I hope you don't mind, but I have moved your above comment to Forum:Is A Fix With Sontarans Canon?, with citation, of coarse. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 02:28, January 11, 2012 (UTC)

Titleedit source

Because the episode does not, in fact, have a title as broadcast, the origin of the name, which I don't in itself dispute, must be spelled out in the article before the conjecture note can be removed.

Never mind. I'm an idiot. Or all that colour in the Colin Baker titles burned out my eyes. It is indeed titled on broadcast.

Poor Thete and Tegan.edit source

Imagine you've been up and down the time stream enough to know that someone is bad news. Imagine, however, that you can't warn anyone. -Tawaki 16:39, January 26, 2013 (UTC)

Feature in Built for War docedit source

It would appear that in the Built for War doc, as appearing on the season 12 blu ray (The Sontaran Experiment disc), while the discussion of this sketch remains an edit has been made. In the clip where Tegan and the Doctor observe Savile on the scanner, the screen has been whited out so he doesn't appear, and Colin's following comment is also removed. This is the original version: <removed per Tardis:Video policy> I'll add this info, but it would be good to also ascertain if recent DVD pressings as part of the single release/Bred for War set also make this edit. Can anyone corroborate? TheOtherJenny 01:56, August 26, 2018 (UTC)

Apologies, did not realise that applied to talk pages also. TheOtherJenny 02:23, August 26, 2018 (UTC)
