Talk:Albert Einstein

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Picture[[edit source]]

Well, A) The following talk post includes spoilers,

B) I think we should find a better frame of Albert in DW: Time and the Rani.

C) And, here are the SPOILERS. Later in the season Einstein will be re-appearing in a short special (as is seen in Confidential) and I think that The old einstein from DW: Time and the Rani should still be on the page near the bottom.

D) And Maybe we should consider including the picture of him from DW: A Christmas Carol. OttselSpy25 19:24, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

Category[[edit source]]

I've added the Companions of the Doctor category to this page, because Death Is the Only Answer (TV story) puts forward that he has travelled with the Doctor before, thus he is a companion. We DON'T know which incarnation he travelled with, which is why the Category:Eleventh Doctor companions category should not be added to this page. Time and the Rani[[edit source]]

When in his timeline is Einstein during Time and the Rani? In this story it looks like his hair is "sciencey" as Eleven suggested he should have it like Death is the Only Answer. That story heavily states that he knows the Doctor and the TARDIS, and he says he is from 1945, but in Time and the Rani it suggests that he doesn't know the Doctor nor the TARDIS. Although it could just be messy because of his recent experience. Then there's also the Fourth Doctor stating he has met Einstein before, Eleven claimed to have partied with him once and Thirteen claimed to have officiated his wedding. How exactly is Einstein's timeline put together? --DCLM 19:50, January 9, 2019 (UTC)

The DWY timelines of famous historical people whom several writers independently thought of having cross over into the Whoniverse is always a mess.
In this case, there's no elegant way to resolve the contradictions, but I think that Time and the Rani’s implication that Einstein didn't know the Doctor or TARDIS yet is best ignored, as all other appearances are along the lines of "the Doctor and Einstein are old buddies".
If you want to, assume divergent timelines, or that he was still doozy from the Rani's ministrations.--Scrooge MacDuck 19:55, January 9, 2019 (UTC)
