Talk:Alien Babies!
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Not DWU[[edit source]]
What is our rationale for making this a not-DWU story? It should probably be added to the article under story notes to avoid an unneeded inclusion debate. Shambala108 ☎ 20:19, May 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't put the tag, but I can see why: I wouldn't want to have to explain at Dorium Maldovar how exactly he became the owner of a nursery in the Medusa Cascade with all sorts of baby aliens of species that the Doctor has battled. Also, how can we fit a "baby Cyberman" into continuity? I think we should open an inclusion debate, although I really think we should not count this one. --SOTO ☎ 20:44, May 22, 2013 (UTC)
- I just want to make sure the tag is being used correctly. The content of the story is irrelevant to its DWU-ness if it follows the four little rules. I'd like to know which rule it breaks. But as you are not the one who posted the tag, we'll just have to wait for confirmation. If you like, you can open an inclusion debate; maybe we'll get some information that way. - It's the Doctor Who? of Doctor Who Adventures. It's very firmly {{notdwu}}. But, yes, the article needs quite a bit of development. All we have now is a list of characters, and I'm not real happy with there being links to the DWU versions of those characters in the name. It almost makes it look like the article is talking about the baby versions of characters that are adults on the television show. But this isn't akin to Muppet Babies, in the key sense that this is pretty strong parody. Muppet Babies are plausibly Kermit, et all, in their youth.
