Talk:Amy Pickwoad
Twitter[[edit source]]
There is a Twitter feed for Amy__Pickwoad, but it's unclear whether it was set up by the BBC. It could have been set up by a fan, and it only has 14 followers. Judging by what accounts are being followed, though, I'd say the chances are it's a fan, and maybe even a French fan. For this reason, I've kept it out of the article, even though it would seem logical to maybe include it.

This is a non-trivial situation. General policies dictate the primality of the in-universe version of this crew member. However, by precedent established in Forum:Production team members who become characters in the DWU, in these rare cases the crew members are treated, in effect, as the primary topic. This has been later discussed at Talk:John Hurt, where this page was explicitly mentioned as an example of correct application of this policy. It should be noted that this mention happened well before Amy Pickwoad (The Bells of Saint John) was created and that at the time of the mention the information about the in-universe cameo of Amy Pickwoad's social media page was placed on this page. The only thing missing to apply the old forum decision is a hard confirmation that it was really intended to be Amy Pickwoad from the crew of the episode. Such confirmation is present in DWMSE 37:
Various crew members were also featured in the face-match sequence as Clara identified Miss Kizlet's staff; art director Amy Pickwoad and graphic artist Christina Tom featured on Twitter, production buyer Adrian Greenwood could be found on flickr, petty cash buyer Florence Tasker turned up on Google+, production assistant Samantha Price was located on Facebook and art department co-ordinator Donna Shakesheff was identified via foursquare.
Thus, I remove renames from both Amy Pickwoad pages. Amorkuz ☎ 00:02, November 9, 2017 (UTC)
