Relation to Tegan[[edit source]]
Although The Awakening and Divided Loyalties agree that Verney is Tegan's grandfather, Divided Loyalties also says that Vanessa is his niece. It goes on to clarify that Vanessa is the sister of Tegan's mum.
How do we go about reconciling this? We assume that he must be Tegan's maternal grandfather, but I can't find any sources that explicitly state that so I'm not sure how to "according to one account" it. He would somehow seem to be Tegan's grandfather whilst also being her great-uncle. Jack ☎ 13:42, 16 August 2024 (UTC)
