Azmael and Azmeal[[edit source]]

Are we sure that Azmeal is not just a misspelling? Both Azmael and Azmeal leave Gallifrey for a planet which is then wiped out by warriors sent by the High Council, after which they return to Gallifrey and slaughter them, being hailed as heroes by the next High Council (who are wary of them) before leaving once more. -- Saxon (✉️) 20:48, November 21, 2020 (UTC)

Agreed! I do not believe having Azmael and Azmeal as separate pages is a useful interpretation of keeping pages "in-universe". There are several other situations where characters or concepts have different spellings of their names across texts (such as Tersuron or Fendahlman) and in those cases the differently spelt things are rightly covered on the same page. Agreed very much. The minor discrepancies can be resolved via "according to another source"ing. – N8 (/👁️) 18:49, 28 November 2020 (UTC)
To make this case explicit, I've combined the pages on User:NateBumber/Sandbox4. The two accounts can be combined with ease. – n8 () 14:50, 17 March 2021 (UTC)

The Hermit[[edit source]]

The Twin Dilemma says that Azmael was the Doctor's mentor, sure, but when was it indicated that he was the Hermit? Jack "BtR" Saxon 14:28, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

The whole Hermit situation was worked out at Talk:Ansillon, if you didn't see it. Scrooge MacDuck 14:31, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
Well, that's definitely too big a minefield for me to even consider reopening at the moment. Jack "BtR" Saxon 14:54, 4 November 2022 (UTC)
