Talk:Barn (The Day of the Doctor)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Location[[edit source]]

Are we absolutely certain that the Barn is on Gallifrey as stated. It is never stated at all.

Reasons to think it is: 1) The Doctor was there in his childhood, VERY strongly implied that with other Gallifreyan children.

Reasons to think it is not: 1) Gallifrey is Time Locked - it can't just be Time Locked for the duration of the War of the Doctor could have gone back in time to before the war to avert it. 2) An incredibly advanced technological people, in a destructive war have locked down their planet for fear of an invasion. You're seriously saying that the War Doctor would have had enough time to park a TARDIS and then walk some distance to the Barn without being detected? 3) Even a device with a conscience (that the Doctor does not know much about) might not wish to destroy itself. Why would anyone to attempt to activate it on one of the a planets he wishes to be Timelocked.

(Written a few days after listen so I may well be proved wrong but we seem to be taken as read something which isn't stated). 80.189.123.132talk to me 14:24, September 17, 2014 (UTC)
