Identity

I've always been confused about this character. The surviving "telesnap" in no way looks like the actual wikipedia:Bing Crosby, which 1960s audiences would have known. In 1965, Bing was ubiquitous. It wouldn't have been possible for an audience then to suspend their disbelief long enough to accept this joker as Bing.

Anyone got any massive objections to creating a new article called Bing Crosby (The Daleks' Master Plan) for this guy and then leaving Bing Crosby available for the indisputable Bing Crosby referred to in Smash Hit?

Keep in mind that this is Bing Crosby of 1921, over four decades younger than the one known to 1960s audiences. People's appearances do tend to change over that much time. Doug86 ☎ 07:00, January 12, 2013 (UTC)
