Some help on what this sentence means "After a Republican revolution overthrew the Monarchy which was not a success, the people wanted a return of the Monarchy."
I was going to re-write this, but there's at least two meanings that can be sought from it:
- After an unsuccessful revolution was attempted by the Republicans the citizens wanted to return to the Monarchy.
- or
- After a Republican revolution overthrew the Monarchy the resulting government was was not a success, the people then wanted a return of the Monarchy. --Tangerineduel 14:51, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
