Talk:Character Options action figures
Article Length & Detail[[edit source]]
As new toys are released by Character Options this article will become unmanageably long and potentially slow to load given the sheer number of images. It is also somewhat short on information, I would love to be able to look up which episode a character appeared in, variants that exist and how many points of articulation a figure has.
Having not found this page I ended up creating some pages from scratch which now seem somewhat redundant but may be a useful way of breaking up the content. Have a look:
- Character Options series 1 action figures
- Character Options series 2 action figures
- Character Options series 3 action figures
- Character Options series 4 action figures
- Character Options classic series action figures
Also the Character Options page needs some serious work.
Are there others that share my concerns and would be interested in doing some editing? -- Azereal 09:59, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Unnecessary Descriptions[[edit source]]
I have noticed that there are descriptions for Series 1 figures but not for others. I don't think these are necessary, as a description for all figures would seriously clutter up this page and make it hard to read. I propose we remove the descriptions completely. It may sound drastic but it needs to be done. 86.177.132.190 15:27, April 5, 2010 (UTC)
Why?[[edit source]]
Why does this wiki cover Action Figures, they are not of The Whoniverse at all. Thjis Wiki covers real worlds of actors and stuiff and in-universe whoniverse stuff, but why action figures? MrSiriusBlack ☎ 10:56, February 12, 2013 (UTC)
- These are merchandise. They are of the real world. They are part of DW history. Just like Dapol, Denys Fisher Toys and Sevans Models. They all help us tell the history of DW. This wiki is not just the DW universe "actors and stuff" it is everything around Doctor Who. --Tangerineduel / talk 14:15, February 15, 2013 (UTC)
