Green and black?[[edit source]]
Citation needed for the old design's colours description as it doesn't match the monochrome image, (the supposed black base is lit to a grey colour while the green stripes in the same light appears black). Maybe it's the other way round? 86.174.32.12talk to me 03:08, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
- This is a very valid question. Dialogue from Ian confirms this:
- "An old Coal Hill School tie. Black with thin emerald green stripes on it."
- I suppose the question we raise, then, is, when info given in the script conflicts with visual information, which takes precedence? Is the look of the tie, somewhat contrary to its description, a production error, and so basically inadmissible? Does the fact that this serial was monochrome play into this? Or do we trust that visual information more than we trust the word of Ian?
