TARDIS "popping"[[edit source]]

Article currently notes:

  • The TARDIS pops in and out rather than fading in and out. (It has been suggested this is because it was under the Time Lord's control)

Don't think that one's gonna fly. The Master's TARDIS does exactly the same thing. The reason is probably a deliberate attempt to change things up, since, at this point, it had been a few years since TARDIS demats were a regular part of the show. I'll look into it further, but that assertion's coming out. CzechOut | 06:39, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm very sure that this was mentioned in a novel somewhere (the whole just popping in and out thing), though I'm drawing a blank as to when it's actually mentioned. --Tangerineduel 13:45, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
But it doesn't explain why the Master's TARDIS does the exact same thing. If it is in a novel, then it should be listed on that novel's page as a discontinuity note. Unless there's a real good reason to suspect that the Master's TARDIS was under the control of the Time Lords as well. But then THAT would itself be a spot of discontinuity, because if the the Time Lords are in control of the Master's TARDIS, why'd they need to send the Doctor on this mission? Gorman note[[edit source]]

Article also noted the following as an "error"/discontinuity:

  • Pat Gorman plays half the characters

In the first place, I seriously doubt it's true. And even if it is, so what? How's that an error, given that Gorman's principally a creatures actor? Who's gonna know the difference? CzechOut | 08:25, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Pat Gorman plays three characters - a primitive, a miner, and a colonist.165.225.80.225talk to me 16:57, January 9, 2018 (UTC)

Uncredited cast and crew[[edit source]]

Removed uncredited cast and crew members. Please do not add back to the page without a valid source. -- Tybort (talk page) 14:12, October 2, 2015 (UTC)

Seriously? Graeme Harper is interviewed on the DVD about his time as AFM on this story. And to keep denying that Delia Derbyshire arranged the theme is very strange.8.26.180.64talk to me 00:03, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
On this wiki we require footnoted citations for uncredited cast and crew. Nothing is stopping you from adding the proper sourcing if you know it. Shambala108 01:33, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Getting Shirty[[edit source]]

"In episode one, when the Doctor and Jo are in the TARDIS, Jo is wearing a pink shirt with black stripes. Once they leave the TARDIS after landing on the planet, however, she is wearing a grey shirt with black stripes. When held hostage, she is wearing the pink shirt again."

It's the same shirt, just badly graded. For another example, check Benton's trousers in The Dæmons. They look red outside and muddy brown inside.8.20.101.144talk to me 22:54, 14 April 2021 (UTC)

And your point is? Shambala108 23:23, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
The point is, your article says she wears two different shirts. She doesn't.8.20.101.144talk to me 09:58, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
