Talk:Cybermen parallel universe
From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Moved from its Wikipedia:Template:Cybermen parallel universe page.
Just to let you know: the information may or may not be notable (I think it's too trivial, myself, and not particularly useful), but ultimately there's no need for a table like that which clutters up the page for no good reason. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 22:28, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Well it's in the opening stages and may look more impressive later after some more work on it, but we could pull it to a separate page if that would be best, say, Parallel universes in Doctor Who ? User|Neddyseagoon 09:42, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- The difficulty is that there've only really been two parallel universes seen in the television series (there are probably more in the novels, though), so what can be said about them is really limited. I just don't think that saying, "Oh, this is different, and oh, this is the same," is notable enough for Wikipedia. It's better if you put it in, say, the TARDIS wikia. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 10:53, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Is there some way to move it lock, stock and barrel to there, to save losing the developments? User|Neddyseagoon 11:19, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure. I don't think so. Might have to just cut and paste. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 12:24, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- The Doctor gives this reality the nickname of "Pete's World" which actually seems less cumbersome than the original title for this article. I've moved the content there with a redirect. The table though, is hard to follow and I think it should be rewritten as an actual article, with complete sentences, paragraphs, etc.
