Talk:Cylethian

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Based mostly upon conjecture. Firsty it's spelt silithean. Also nothing at all suggests it's a species or group at all. could just be a location. could just be a class for example like "dreadnought class". Also made up quotes such as "100 years" The preceding unsigned comment was added by JakeOliverB (talk • contribs) .

Deletion (edit conflict)[[edit source]]

JakeOliverB has added a deletion proposal for this page on the grounds that it is actually spelt "Silithean". This reference guide to the novelisation spells it "Cylethian", which I would naturally assume is taken directly from the book. Does anybody have a copy of the book to confirm or refute this? Firstly im pretty new to the talk page stuff and learning on my own so sorry about mistakes and things. Yeah i did make a stupid blunder and missed that the information was something quoting the novelisation as i read one that said TV and missed the the others. If it's all true in the novelisation i obviously take everything back. I based the spelling off a transcript i found online i may have wrongly assumed was right. The subtitles on atleast iplayer don't come up with any word at all for it. Again apologies for making a mess of this like i said, not that experienced. It's an understandable mistake to make. Of course, transcripts are just made by fans so they aren't a source and, as far as I can tell, it does look like the novelisation probably does spell it "Cylethian". I'll go ahead and remove your deletion templates if that's alright with you.
