Saucer Commander?[[edit source]]
What is the source for this name? --Nyktimos 07:39, December 27, 2009 (UTC)
- Isn't it what it's called in the story?
- I can watch the serial again but I would have to say no. The transcript (unofficial) that I've been looking at distinguishes him by writing "Dalek Leader" before his lines. He appears for part of two episodes before the prop gets some extra paint to become the Black Dalek who acts as Supreme Controller. The novelisation doesn't seem to acknowledge Stripes.
- I'm thinking it might be Daleks' Invasion Earth 2150 A.D. (which I've never watched) but that had three, not two, different high-ranking Daleks and visually the Dr. Who Universe Dalek superiors don't really match up. For some reason, Wikipedia:Dalek variants calls this TV fellow the Earth Taskforce Commander, or 'Saucer Commander'. The other title doesn't seem to correspond to anything onscreen either. Character Options just further confuses things by calling the Supreme Controller the Saucer Commander and this guy the Saucer Pilot.
- By the same convention of Evil of the Daleks where a Dalek need only a black cap to be called a "Black Dalek" I suppose that is what he is but without any further title it doesn't help sorting the hierarchy. --Nyktimos 04:52, December 29, 2009 (UTC)
