Talk:David Walliams

What's the source for any of this?[[edit source]]

This article makes huge claim after huge claim without a scrap of evidence. I know we're sometimes lax about citation around here, but you really can't say someone was in the frame for the Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Doctors without citing any reputable sources. Especially when Moffat is on record as saying "Matt was our first choice" and RTD and Julie Gardner describe the casting of DT as if there were no other choice. Proof is definitely required. Pretty sure the Little Britain USA Season 2 line is wrong. At the very least it leaves the impression that there was such a thing as Little Britain (USA) season 2. Which there wasn't. HBO publicly said they weren't making it in June 2009, or, roughly the time filming started for Series 5. In order to say series 2 of LBUSA got in the way of DW, you'd have to prove that Walliams was under some form of contract with HBO until the July 2009 announcement formally dissolved that contract. Maybe such proof exists. Dunno. But even if it does, the line would have to be significantly rewritten. CzechOut | 06:03, December 2, 2010 (UTC)
No, sorry, this whole thing is crap. His article on Wikipedia doesn't include any of this business about the 9th, 10th and 11th Doctors. In fact, searching for "Doctor Who" currently only returns hits about BF and the spoofs. I'm yanking all that crap. CzechOut | 06:12, December 2, 2010 (UTC)
