In 2013, this page was moved by a non-admin without a discussion from Dave (The Green Death) to Davis Griffiths with the rationale that the character being called "Davis" in Episode 2 indicates that that is what Dave is short for.
In the TV story, the character is known as Dave and is twice called Mr Davis/Davies by the Doctor. This would seem to indicate that his name is Dave Davis/Davies. In the novelisation, he's called Dave Griffiths.
These would seem to me to be two different names for the character. This page should be moved to "Dave Davis" or "Dave Davies" whilst "Dave Griffiths" is used as a redirect and mentioned on the page. Jack "BtR" Saxon ☎ 17:22, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
