I thought this would have been Christmas 2005 - because Lucy said she'd leave during the following summer, and it was 2006 when she joined the Doctor, right? Or have I gotten mixed up? Either way, something's always happening on Christmas since 2005.

No, it was stated in the story that it was 2008. It likely occurred between the time Lucie was dropped of by Straxus after The Vengeance of Morbius, and when she was reunited with the Doctor in Orbis. Danochy ☎ 20:35, August 4, 2019 (UTC)
