Could DG be taken to mean Director-General?

- Ooh, that's a good shout I think. It also explains why I couldn't find any counterpart because I had just assumed an actual person was being referenced rather than a position. Should the page be renamed on this basis? --Borisashton ☎ 18:02, May 26, 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with the story, but it's certainly a fair inference. Our page for another fictional DG, Director-General (Not So Much a Programme, More a Way of Life), uses the full title and the acronym interchangeably. I think readers of the comic were probably expected to understand who the DG is to get the joke, same as they'd be expected to understand that Tom is Tom Baker contextually. I can rename the page, if you like.

I've mostly included the number for the pages regarding unnamed individuals that appear in Doctor Who? who might conflict with each other such as Man (Doctor Who? 131). On the other hand, Director-General is an exceedingly rare page name and I'm fairly certain no others have appeared in Doctor Who?. --Borisashton ☎ 19:24, May 26, 2020 (UTC)

- We can move this again if we find out that another Director-General does appear in a different issue. Moving to Director-General (Doctor Who?).
