Talk:Divided Loyalties (novel)

Question[[edit source]]

"Divided Loyalties [...] was the first novel to feature this line up of Doctor and companions and the first full length novel to do so since 1996's PROSE: Cold Fusion.“ Whut? -_- How can it be the first *and* the first since 1996? --Irrevenant 04:01, December 6, 2013 (UTC)

At a guess, maybe it means first PDA novel to feature this lineup, and the first overall since Cold Fusion (since Cold Fusion is an MA novel). Shambala108 04:06, December 6, 2013 (UTC)
I did a little digging, and this is what happened. We used to have prefixes for the different lines of prose. Someone had written the following: "the first [[PDA]] novel to feature this line up of Doctor and companions". When we changed prefixes over, the PDA was automatically changed to the new prefix of PROSE. Then someone else came along and removed the prefix as it looked odd in the sentence.
I've fixed the sentence to clarify it. Thanks for catching it! Shambala108 04:13, December 6, 2013 (UTC)

Reliability of flashback info[[edit source]]

Given that the flashbacks are dream sequences, should we really be taking them at face value? Perhaps it would be better to treat the flashbacks with skepticism due to their nature. --Pluto2 (talk) 00:10, December 17, 2016 (UTC)
