Pronoun and name usage[[edit source]]
I was thinking of expanding this character's biography, or at least giving a few more details. But I was a bit unsure whether to use Dorothy's old name and pronouns for the parts of the story where she uses them, because the narration of the story does too. "Theodore"'s assigned male identity and realization she identifies as female, which don't come until the end, are actually part of the narrative. However, even with the importance to the story, I still kind of don't think doing it the same way the story does is really the right course of action for our encyclopedic page— am I correct? I just hope there's a not-confusing way of doing this, that does it the right way while making the narrative of Dorothy's transition clear, and I certainly hope not to offend anyone.
