What is the source for the "most common modern version"? What is the evidence for it being the most common?--Skittles the hog - talk 16:06, October 30, 2014 (UTC)

Bearing in mind the Nightmare Man recites the "tiger" version whilst deciding whether to invade Clyde or Rani's dreams first, I would say this is definitely the "most common modern version" (though many common variations do also exist) — bearing in mind that the version featuring the "n-word" has long since fallen out of favour. In fact, the rhyme has even been edited out of recent repeats of the Dad's Army episode "Keep Young and Beautiful" — though it remains intact on DVD. -- Freddie R. So, based on its usage in a single instance, it's the most common? That makes no sense - you need to find more examples. Neither Dad's Army, nor any other real world rendition of the rhyme, is applicable here. It's a case of finding out which one is used more in the DWU.
