Most prolific doctor[[edit source]]

Just a quick question but what is the source for the claim that the eight is the most prolific across all media especially as the finish book of world records for 2011 gave that distinction to the tenth 2.30.191.42talk to me 20:45, June 7, 2017 (UTC)

8 certainly wins at audio stories, he probably wins when it comes to prose stories.... The only thing that I could say 10 clearly wins would be comics, and only because he had three or four running at once. Outside of comics, I would say 10 doesn't have THAT much media. He has five pages of audio dramas on Big Finish's website, for starters. Then there's the books, comics, and more. I'd call him the the most prolific, if only because he's been at it for over twenty years. --Sumanuil 21:14, June 7, 2017 (UTC)
but that 5th 6th and 7th also have 5 pages and more release than the 8th infact the 6th has the most release of all doctors with 112 vs the 8ths 97 but that still doesn't answer the question of what is the source for the claim 2.30.191.42talk to me 21:45, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

I wasn't just counting audios. Did you see I mentioned books and comics, as well? There are more than 70 Eighth Doctor Adventures novels alone. --Sumanuil 22:14, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

But the 7th doctor also had the virgin new adventures and the BBC past doctor books. What I'm asking is: where did this wiki get the info that the 8th had the most stories across all media (which includes all short stories, comics, novels, TV stories, and audios. Was it by counting the stories on this wiki or was it from a reference like a DWM special or other source?2.30.191.42talk to me 22:49, June 8, 2017 (UTC)

We compile that information from multiple sources and give it, for example, at List of novels per Doctor. And I'm sorely tempted to clean up your spelling and grammar. I think I will, if only because your misspelling of 'what' hurts my eyes. --Sumanuil 23:20, June 8, 2017 (UTC)
