Canonicity

As the adventure games have been confirmed as canonical, and are actual perfomances by Matt Smith, wouldn't it make sense to place these after the television episodes, rather than placing the novels and comics in between the two??? Geek Mythology 17:34, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

IDW Comics

The Eleventh Doctor makes a cameo appearance in IDW's Doctor Who Annual, appearing alongside the Tenth Doctor in a dream sequence in "To Sleep, Perchance to Scream". Please add this to the list. Thanks. 68.146.81.123 03:31, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

If no one is going to heed these additions, then please remove the protection on this page, huh? Anyway, you have The Only Good Dalek listed as a prose novel. It is not. San Diego Comic Con special

Added the 2012 San Diego Comic Con special to the list. Proms minisode

I added a link to the 2013 proms to this list as well as the one for Clara. Given this list already includes decidedly out-of-universe items like The Doctor Drops In (TV story) where Smith appeared in a live performance as Eleven for Children in Need, etc., surely the Proms minisode, which was professionally filmed, albeit leading into a live stage performance by Smith and Coleman, is just as viable. It used to have an article, but there was an inclusion debate that yielded that it had no official existence separate from the Proms special — the title under which the page had been created (Bodyswap to the Proms) being some spurious fan creation. As such, it's invalid. In contrast, The Doctor Drops In was released on YouTube separated from the wider Children in Need special and with a title of its own, enabling its coverage.

By widespread precedent {{invalid}} appearances like the Proms special aren't supposed to be placed in lists of appearances, although given the out-of-universe nature of LOAs, this is something I'd personally be in favour of changing. Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 16:16, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
