If the page for telepaths is at telepathy, shouldn't a page for empathetic psychic abilities be at empathy for consistency? There are other such examples in the whoniverse. 78.9.3.121talk to me 21:28, April 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Well, ideally there should be multiple pages. There should be a page about telepath and telepathy, one about the people who have the power and the other about the power itself. Also, the telepath/telepathic example isn't a precise fit, here. Empathy is a bit different than an empathic psychic. Empathic is an adjective in this case, defining a particular kind of psychic. Empathy does not, in itself, necessarily mean a psychic power. It's just an emotion, like anger or love. Thus, an article about empathy would ideally be about something significantly different than one about empathic psychics/empathics. An empathic is different to someone who is empathetic.
