Talk:Eric (A Christmas Carol)

There seems to be some confusion over who's who amongst Abigail's family, and it all seems to stem from the fact that the child actor Bailey Pepper is playing two roles in this episode. Looking at the credits, we have:

Bailey Pepper - Boy

Bailey Pepper - Benjamin

Steve North - Old Benjamin

Nick Malinowski - Eric

"Boy" refers to the child who throws coal at Kazran, while Benjamin is Isabella's son, the one The Doctor performs card tricks for. Some people seemed to have taken these for the same character, as was reflect on the page for Benjamin before I edited it.

This also means that Old Benjamin (the man who accompanies older Isabella and the children to see Kazran at the beginning) and Eric (Isabella's husband) are being conflated. The page for Eric talks about them as though they are one and the same. A quick look at the IMDb pages for Steve North and Nick Malinowski show that it is Old Benjamin seen at the beginning of the episode.

Currently this page has an image of "Old Benjamin," though being new at editing this wiki I don't know how to remove it (and ideally move it to Benjamin's page where it belongs). Any help to make the pages accurate would be appreciated. Alpha5099 00:17, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
