- In "Nightvisiting", in the clipshow of Jasper Adeola, leading up to his death, one scene shows him holding a letter to Tanya from Coal Hill, signed "Frank Armitage". --DCLM ☎ 21:45, November 6, 2016 (UTC)
- However this name has been suggested to be changed to "Francis Armitage", given a conversation between Quill and Dorothea Ames (new headteacher) in "Co-Owner of A Lonely Heart" as Quill say to herself they never found out what the "F." stood for, and Ames comes in and says "Francis". --DCLM ☎ 21:45, November 6, 2016 (UTC)
- Except Armitage himself uses Frank. Not only his signature itself reads that, but the printed text underneath. Perhaps Francis is his technical, legal name, but it's clear he used the shorter Frank while he was alive, making that the most common name for him. It's rather like finding out someone's middle name; you don't suddenly rename their page just because you have a longer version. I think this page should stay here, and a redirect should be created at Francis Armitage.
