The Two (or more?) Gorgons

Both this and Gorgon (mythology) are in a sense the same. Sarah Jane goes on about the original Greek myth (that should be at Gorgon (mythology)), and an image in the book she shows to Maria very clearly shows the snake-hair. She does more than imply that the Gorgons she's about to face inspired these myths. The Gaze of the Gorgon then offers an alternate account that the Gorgons that inspired the myths originated on Earth, not Gorgos. Obviously, it's also stated in Eye that the Greeks exaggerated the Gorgons' features, and the snake-hair was entirely fictional. Gaze seems to agree with the myths, and took it all literally. Either way, both possess similar abilities and are both intended to have inspired the myths.

I'd say we either merge them all into one article with two (or more) similar accounts on the origins of the myths, or split it up into Gorgon (Eye of the Gorgon), Gorgon (The Gaze of the Gorgon) and Gorgon (mythology) on the myths, references to them, and a brief overview of the two real versions. Of course, Gorgon itself in this case would be a dab page, unless we want to put the mythology page at Gorgon and list the others (and the stories with Gorgon in their titles) at Gorgon (disambiguation). In any case, it's a real mess how it is now, with Gorgon (mythology) not actually being about the mythology, and references to the Greek mythology being here.
