Talk:Guinness World Records

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Rationale for delete[[edit source]]

Is this necessary? The information could just as easily be included on the BBC Worldwide article page (with correct citation etc).

Also the title looks like a Target novelisation title and anyways after 2000 (according to wikipedia) it was known as the 'Guinness World Records'. --Tangerineduel 12:43, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Ok, I came across this one and thought I'd forget it, but there are more arent there?! Remember the Doctor Who vs Stargate debate and longest running fantasy television series, what about longest running continuing comic strip based on a television series, there must be more but where to collect them together? No objection to deletion but a page of some sorts to triumph the series longevity would be nice, or not! The Librarian 00:06, September 22, 2009 (UTC)
Hi I found a bit more substance to the page but agree the title needs changing it's GUINNESS! Perhaps incorporating the information under Doctor Who might be appropriate? The Librarian 00:26, September 25, 2009 (UTC)

Opposition to deletion.[[edit source]]

I think that this article should exist, but it does need some work. First, it should be moved to "Guinness Book of World Records" or similar, to reflect the correct title of the book. Second, it needs a cleanup and a real world tag. Third, we need something to link to it - probably the main show page with a mention along the lines of "Doctor Who is listed in the "Guinness Book of World Records..." et cetera. Yep, I think it should stay I'm A Hydroponic Tomato! Bigredrabbit 00:36, December 22, 2009 (UTC)

Just popped back and although this page is tagged for deletion I should point out that several people have contributed. Perhaps a rethink on the 'deletion tag' in favour of 'needs work on'?The Librarian 01:30, December 31, 2009 (UTC)
