Talk:Humanoid

Definition[[edit source]]

What's the base for calling Raxacoricofallapatorians "humanoids"? In the television show, so far as I can tell, the term is generally used for everyone who looks like a normal person. So Time Lords and Trakenites and Alzarians and Peladonians are humanoid, but, say, Alpha Centauri, the Ice Warriors, and the Silurians are not. This seems to be giving a broader definition. As is the case for all in universe articles, we try to use definitions from the stories. The first paragraph in this article clearly states a definition given by the Tenth Doctor, so that's what we use. The Raxas, Ice Warriors, Silurians etc have four limbs and a face, and therefore qualify by at least Ten's definition. Shambala108 17:44, October 24, 2014 (UTC)
