Main enemy[[edit source]]
I'm thinking that, based on this story alone, Marcus Gifford, who tried to kill River, is the main enemy. The rest of the Rulers either don't know River (Jenkins), or have some unspecified plans for her (Bertie), or don't care much (Isabella Clerkwell). The fact that the unspecified plans are sinister is only uncovered in the next story, Signs. I would want to change the enemy unless there is a reason not to. Amorkuz ☎ 16:51, July 17, 2016 (UTC)
