Rename?

I know this is going to cause a lot of headaches with renaming pages and all that, but if we want to go by official "in-universe" terminology (since no story so far has used "Inferno Earth"), The Quantum Archangel does give us "the Inferno universe," which would be the only known name that originates in-universe. Unless The Schizoid Earth gives a possible name? I just wanted to suggest this for the sake of being as official as possible. I think "Inferno Earth" works just fine, but I still wanted to ask what others thought, if anyone has any opinions or objections about a rename. Steed ☎ 20:36, July 7, 2017 (UTC)

I agree that the page could have a better name. This is supposedly a whole parallel universe, but Inferno Earth - as it is currently named - suggests that the page only represents the planet Earth of this universe. What if there were future stories set in this universe which went beyond planet Earth? Steed has proposed Inferno universe above. I would, however, propose that the page be renamed Inferno World, perhaps with a conjecture tag; this would thereby fit in with the similarly named universes of Pete's World, Donna's World and River Song's World. 66 Seconds ☎ 15:10, 19 July 2021 (UTC)

I prefer Inferno universe personally, given that it comes from an in-universe source. Also "world" has also come to have "planet" as an alternative meaning, so I generally think universe is the clearer term to go with. Danochy ☎ 07:16, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
