Page rename[[edit source]]

This page should be renamed to Kantrofarri, given that is the proper name for these creatures. 66 Seconds 12:10, December 26, 2014 (UTC)

"Dream crab" is the more commonly used name for them, though, and isn't the wiki's policy to use the most common name? JagoAndLitefoot 12:15, December 26, 2014 (UTC)
I don't really know... Maybe Kantrofarri is what it should be known as. --DCLM 00:29, December 27, 2014 (UTC)

If you think it should be renamed, put a {{Rename}} tag on it so an admin can see it and other users can discuss it. Shambala108 23:05, September 20, 2015 (UTC)

Yea, I agree that it should be renamed. I think we should always use their correct name. --TazminDaytime 18:15, October 8, 2016 (UTC)

I agree with the rename. -- Denchen: Lord of all that is invalid 22:24, December 1, 2016 (UTC)

I also agree with the rename, tag added. DrWHOCorrieFan 02:36, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

I've changed the tag to rename. Since this is and has been up for discussion, the speedy rename tag is not applicable. Please see the instructions for the speedy rename tag to see when you can use it. Shambala108 02:55, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

This should definitely be renamed. I was just searching by the name Kantrofarri since Big Finish is using the name in the description for their Stuff of Nightmares audios next month. It would appear that the usage is leaning away from "Dream Crab."Natalieshark 06:47, 30 June 2022 (GMT)

I too agree with the suggested rename. Jack "BtR" Saxon 16:02, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
I concur as well. 17:15, 7 August 2022 (UTC)
Recent stories (namely the two BF stories that came out this month) emphatically remark that "Kantrofarri" is the proper species name, while "dream crab" is a common, albeit colloquial, variant. Carrying out this rename at long last. OncomingStorm12th 03:38, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
