Talk:Kelsey Hooper

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Why was she replaced by Clyde Langer? Why was she dropped from the show? No explanation is given in Revenge of the Slitheen. Do you think The Trickster was involved? (the last bit was a joke). The evil dudeArnie 15:27, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

The explanation is actually in Invasion of the Bane. She simply chose not to believe in aliens and naturally distanced herself from Sarah Jane's "gang". She just wasn't made of stern enough stuff. The real life reason I've heard is because the actor was a pain to work with, though I'm not sure I quite remember whether that was reputable fact or rumor. CzechOut | 11:17, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Although this is not Wikipedia, we still should follow some of their standards when it comes to dealing with statements about living people. The two sources given for the claim wre NOT official sources -- the article says so. Regardless of how reputable they are, we can't just post rumor or "insider statements" of this nature without a good source. If there has been media coverage -- whether the Times or DWM -- then that's different. But I'm sorry -- I just don't feel comfortable making claims about the actress (especially a child actress) that aren't back up by iron-clad media sources, even if the source was a personal comment from RTD himself. 23skidoo 23:42, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

"Harper?"[[edit source]]

Surely the character was called "Kelsey Hooper" on-screen? Rob T Firefly 18:37, October 6, 2010 (UTC)
