Talk:King Nocturne

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The name[[edit source]]

This guy caused me a lot of hesitation. So I'd be glad to discuss the issue. Firstly, I strongly believe that the one from The Jazz Monster two-parter who later appeared in Old Girl is different from the one from The Singer Not the Song. They are drawn differently. The connection is hinted at by the Doctor in very uncertain terms.

Secondly, about the same time, I think, the Doctor names the one from The Jazz Monster the King Nocturne (as opposed to the Parent Nocturne at the relay station in The Singer Not the Song). This might be a speculation on the Doctor's part, but it's not our speculation, and to my mind it's better than the dab term. What do you think? Amorkuz 09:45, December 29, 2016 (UTC)

I am not sure why this page hasn't been renamed yet, as it seems nearly all other edits have been made to accommodate the change. This page no longer even mentions The Singer not the Song. I guess it is just one that slipped through the cracks of time and has been forgotten, but I would like to put forward my support for the name change. LauraBatham 10:47, 23 June 2021 (UTC)
