Talk:List of Doctor Who television writers
Deletion[[edit source]]
Disagree with deletion rationale. It's quite common practice for us to have two pages with respect to job titles. Writer should define the job; List of Doctor Who writers provides the list. I favor this development, but this is a time when I say we should just port the wikipedia article, cause it's not going to be done much better. Course, I'm biased, since I'm a major editor of wikipedia:List of Doctor Who writers.

- I agree that Writer should define the role and that we should have separate pages for DW, TW, SJA writers etc.
- I disagree that we should copy over the Wikipedia article as T:WIKIPEDIA states it's "highly discouraged" that that we're trying to "create a unique encyclopaedia. It is preferable that content for this wiki does not rely heavily on Wikipedia". --Tangerineduel / talk 15:58, December 28, 2011 (UTC)
- True, but I personally am largely responsible for the current form of the Wikipedia article, as can be verified in the wikpedia page history, so if I were to write this article, I couldn't really write it another way.

Prop delete withdrawn[[edit source]]
I've removed the prop delete tag.
I still have some issues with this page, but they're not delete worthy.
There's some information included in the list that seems...excessive and there fore the sake of the information being there rather than to inform the reader; Run time and time since first episode. I see it's useful for sorting, but it sort of betrays the other involvement the writer has had with Doctor Who.
Given that this was written for Wikipedia my next comment is probably obvious but it has the style of a Wikipedia article, its tone and audience still read as being a Wikipedia audience rather than a TARDIS Index File audience. --Tangerineduel / talk 15:22, February 22, 2012 (UTC)
