Talk:London UFO crash

Rename removal[[edit source]]

Nothing was cited in the rename tag, and as the intro cites both "London UFO Crash" and "London UFO Disaster" the latter would be the other in-universe name to rename it to. World War Three (Aliens of London) as was cited on the rename would seem less helpful a name. --Tangerineduel / talk 06:37, 11 June 2024 (UTC)

The issue is neither of the names are actually good descriptors of the whole Slitheen attack. Names such as "London UFO crash" are taken the immediate news broadcast following the initial crash, but these don't apply to the wider scheme as the BBC news company in-universe had no idea.
"World War Three (Aliens of London)", however, has merit as it's a broader name taken from, well, part two: TV: World War Three. It's the name of the episode, whixh has a useful quality to it like the (currently only proposed) page names genesis of the Daleks and Sontaran stratagem, for example.
I'm going to add back the rename template but reword it. 11:14, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
