If Gallifreyans only have cousins, until the 7th Doctor at least, how do we explain Susan Foreman?

The Doctor's Family[[edit source]]
This is confusing as in the general profile of The Doctor it says that he has a human mother and a Time Lord father. He also talked of looking at the time vortex when he was 8 or 9 years old. It also mentioned that he had several children over his different identities. I wonder why they wanted to make Time Lords asexual.
And, for what it's worth, the idea of "looming" physical bodies doesn't make much sense at all...what is it, like a 3D printer?69.125.134.86talk to me 23:29, April 12, 2013 (UTC)
