I'm not sure that this story takes place in the 1970's, at one point the one of the characters the other to see if he made it home from the farm, only to discover him in a shed when they heard his phone ringing. This seems to imply the use of a mobile phone which means this story probably takes place in a modern setting. –Nahald ☎ 19:12, July 30, 2014 (UTC)
