Lockdown short story[[edit source]]

I understand that the Lockdown short stories were submitted by fans, right? If so, then these are just fan fiction under the umbrella of the Lockdown title, and thus the stories are straight up invalid. It doesn't even require a Behind the Scenes mention as they only belong on the Lockdown Wiki. The Behind the Scenes are there for official BBC work written by authors that hasn't yet been made official by an in-universe source, such as a reference book. The only place for this is on the Lockdown Wiki. It's interesting to note that LINDA United doesn't even have a filled out page on the Lockdown Wiki... I already find it difficult allowing these fanfics into the Theory Timelines, but to put it onto an official Wiki article has the potential to be confusing to casual readers of the Wiki. I just don't understand why Lockdown fan fiction seems to be given a lot more leeway than regular fan fiction. It's either fan fiction or it isn't? Make them valid or accept they're invalid due to their lack of licence and accept it. TheFartyDoctor Talk 01:05, 1 August 2022 (UTC)

Well, it's not just fan-fiction. It's endorsed by the then-editor of DWM and often written by writers whose works are covered on this Wiki, and in the case of LINDA United, it is written by Cornelius Blanc who has had creative input into official Who. Furthermore, as the story ties into a charity anthology, it is also notable in that respect.
That being said, I think the detail about in-universe elements is unnecessary. I think, perhaps, the behind the scenes note should only document the fact that an unlicensed, but partially-officially recognised short story featuring Lynda was written by an person who has a page on this Wiki that ties into a charity story. But hey, I'm open to suggestions. 01:22, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
