Everyone "survives"[[edit source]]

I was just noticing the category of "Notable Survivals" and wondering if it should be called something else, or exactly what the "criteria" is for being "Notable"... Specifically, there are people listed who survived and continued to affect the story: Oswald, Rex, Lyn (a bit)... And there are people who were mentioned specifically (or shown to the audience) as surviving as a point in the story: Mrs Monroe, suicide bomber, "Strangled Woman". And then there are people who are just assumed to have survived (because nobody can die) but are otherwise just "out of the picture" and their condition isn't really determined because they're not talked about again: Colin, Zheng, Friedkin. However, by this last criteria, I think it's also worth Noting that "All Catagory 1's who were Burned" also technically Survived - but I realized that this is a very wide category and thus am wondering whether the heading needs additional clarification. I believe notable means that their deaths, or relegation to category one, was actually shown in the series or referenced. --MrThermomanPreacher 18:22, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
So far as I know one of the Torchwood writers, perhaps Jane Espenson, confirmed that incinerated cat 1s did die. Russel had even hinted himself a lot earlier on that if you completely atomised someone, you could kill them, and some fans could even see the whole "modules" thing coming from a mile off. 94.72.209.209talk to me 17:12, December 29, 2011 (UTC)

The Miracle[[edit source]]

As "Miracle Day" refers only to the actual day when people stopped dying, and "The Miracle" was the phenomenon that lasted for several months, shouldn't these two seperate events have seperate pages?? Geek Mythology 21:49, September 25, 2011 (UTC)

I totally agree

Removal of edits[[edit source]]

I've removed several edits to this page. There was too much speculation, and too much of a mix of present and past tense, for me to clean it up. If the original editor would like to re-add the info to the page, it must be done in the past tense and with no speculation. Shambala108 17:20, August 29, 2013 (UTC)

are Notable Survivals really notable?[[edit source]]

Are the survivals really all that notable? I mean, most are speculated with "presumably died at [a] or [b]" so not only it is factually unconfirmed most are so short that they aren't really worth mentioning. Maybe they're better on their own page or the majority deleted or actually put the notable ones down and leave the rest out, such as Rex's and Oswald's due to their significance in the series?
